Pattaya Hotels with a Private Pool: Pool Villas and Suites (2026)

Which Pattaya hotels actually have a private pool you don't share? This guide covers pool villas, plunge-pool suites and all-villa resorts across every budget — with real THB prices and honest notes.

Pattaya Hotels with a Private Pool: Pool Villas and Suites (2026)

A private pool in Pattaya costs less than you’d expect. Options range from roughly ฿2,700 a night in Naklua to ฿11,500-plus for beachfront villas in Na Jomtien. The hard part is working out which “private pool” is actually private.

This guide covers hotels and resorts where the pool is genuinely yours — either a villa with its own enclosed pool or a suite with a plunge pool on a private terrace. Shared hotel pools, however large, aren’t included. Prices are in Thai baht (THB) at roughly ฿33–34 to US$1. Rates checked July 2026; high-season prices (December–January, Songkran) can run significantly higher than the “from” figures shown.

For properties that combine beachfront access with pool villas, our beachfront hotels guide goes deeper on which are actually on the sand.

The short version

  • Cheapest genuine private pool: Villa Raya Resort in Naklua from ฿2,700/night — boutique, 6 villas, near Wongamat Beach.
  • Best mid-range value: La Miniera Pool Villas (Small Luxury Hotels of the World member) at ฿5,400–฿6,500/night — 66 villas, each with a heated, chemical-free pool.
  • Best beachfront pool villa: InterContinental Pattaya Resort — beachfront pool villas (125–210 sqm) on a private beach; check direct for villa-specific rates.
  • Best for couples: MASON Pattaya from ฿11,536/night — 35 saltwater pool villas with jacuzzis, beachfront, One MICHELIN Key hotel (2025).
  • First all-pool-villa resort: Oceanphere Pattaya Villa (formerly X2) in Bang Saray from ฿7,415/night — every unit has a private pool.

Under ฿4,000/night

Villa Raya Resort Private Pool Villas — Naklua / Wongamat

฿2,700+/night | 6 villas | Near Wongamat Beach

A small boutique property in the quieter Naklua area, about 650m (8–10 minutes on foot) from Wongamat Beach. Villa Raya has six villas, each with its own private pool, lush garden and terrace. The size keeps service ratios high and the atmosphere calm — it rarely feels like a resort, more like renting a well-run private home.

Works for: couples and small families who want the pool-villa experience without paying Jomtien resort prices. The trade-off is limited on-site dining (restaurant serves Indian, Thai and pizza).

Wongamat is generally cleaner and quieter than Pattaya Beach. Our Wongamat Beach guide covers the area.

Sunday Sea Two Pool Villa Resort — Nong Prue / near Floating Market

฿3,187+/night | 70 villas | ~3.5 km from Jomtien Beach

A larger villa-style property in Nong Prue, with 70 villas each carrying a private plunge pool. A buggy runs from reception to your villa, and the facilities (spa, sauna, fitness centre) are solid for the price range. Children’s pool on site. Reviews average around 7.2/10 — comfortable and good value, not polished. A cart and decent-sized pool go a long way at this price.

Neither Jomtien nor central Pattaya are walkable — figure on a 10-minute Grab each way. That distance is the honest trade-off for the low price.

฿4,000–฿8,000/night

La Miniera Pool Villas Pattaya — Nong Prue (near Jomtien)

฿5,400–฿6,500/night | 66 villas | SLH member

La Miniera is the strongest mid-range pick in Pattaya’s pool villa market. It’s a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, which matters less as a badge and more as a quality signal: 66 five-star villas, each with a heated, ozone-treated pool (less chlorine smell than a standard pool), in-villa spa service on request, and a floating breakfast available if you want it.

Guest ratings sit at 9.0/10 on Agoda with 868+ reviews — consistently high for the price. Swim-up bar at the shared main pool if you want company; completely private when you don’t.

The location is south of central Pattaya, near Nong Prue — not beachfront, but a short drive to Jomtien. Worth the trip if you’re choosing pool time over beach time.

Infinity pool at Sea Sand Sun Resort Pattaya with sun loungers, palm trees and views over the Gulf of Thailand at sunset Sea Sand Sun Resort & Villas in Na Jomtien — beachfront pool complex with private pool villas available at the higher room tiers.

Sea Sand Sun Resort & Villas — Na Jomtien

Pool villas from ฿7,000+/night | Beachfront | Rated 9.0/10

One of the better-rated properties on the Jomtien coast, Sea Sand Sun sits directly on the beach in the quieter Na Jomtien section. Pool villas are available at the higher room tiers — expect to pay from roughly ฿7,000 upward for a private pool; the standard rooms start lower. Well-landscaped grounds, direct sand access, and a strong reputation on repeat visits.

Good fit for couples or small groups who want both beach access and a private pool. Full coverage of the beach in our Jomtien Beach guide.

InterContinental Pattaya Resort — Pratumnak Hill

Pool villas (check direct for rates) | Private beach | IHG

The InterContinental is one of Pattaya’s few full resort-style properties. Pool villa options are a 1-bedroom Beachfront Pool Villa (125 sqm) and 2-bedroom (210 sqm), each with a private plunge pool and sundeck opening onto the private beach. Inventory is limited — the resort lists just two of its larger Oceanfront Villas (with private infinity pools). The setting helps: tropical gardens, a sheltered private beach, and enough space around the villas that you’re not overlooked.

Villa-specific rates aren’t published on OTAs — check direct via IHG or call ahead; these fill early in high season.

The Pratumnak area is covered in detail in our Pratumnak Hill guide.

Oceanphere Pattaya Villa (formerly X2) — Bang Saray / Na Jomtien

From ฿7,415/night | All-villa resort | 1–4 bedrooms

Oceanphere is all pool villas: no standard rooms, no shared-pool-only categories. Every unit has a private pool and enclosed private garden. Villa types run from 1-bedroom (up to 2 guests) to 4-bedroom (up to 8 guests), making it one of the few private-pool options that genuinely suits larger groups.

Bang Saray is about 400m from the beach — quieter and more local than Jomtien, with good seafood along the waterfront. Worth noting: children 12 and over are charged at the adult rate.

Above ฿8,000/night

MASON Pattaya — Na Jomtien (beachfront)

From ฿11,536/night | 35 villas | One MICHELIN Key hotel (2025) | Design Hotels member

The most expensive and most polished private pool option in the area. MASON runs 35 beachfront villas — five room types, 1 or 2 bedrooms — each with a saltwater pool, jacuzzi, private sundeck, rainshower and oversized bath. It holds a One MICHELIN Key designation (2025) — the Michelin hotel recognition, not a restaurant star. Strongly oriented toward couples rather than families, though not formally adults-only.

The beachfront position in Na Jomtien gives 150m of direct beach frontage without a road crossing. MASON is a different budget bracket, not just a nicer version of the mid-range resorts.

FAQ

What is the cheapest hotel in Pattaya with a private pool?

Villa Raya Resort in Naklua from around ฿2,700/night. Sunday Sea Two Pool Villa Resort starts from ฿3,187/night and has more facilities.

Do Pattaya pool villas have beach access?

The InterContinental pool villas on Pratumnak, MASON Pattaya and Sea Sand Sun in Na Jomtien are directly beachfront. X2 Oceanphere is a 550m walk from Bang Saray beach. La Miniera and Sea Two are inland — short drives to the beach.

Are Pattaya pool villas family-friendly?

Most are. La Miniera, Sea Two, InterContinental, X2 Oceanphere and Villa Raya all welcome families. MASON is effectively a couples resort and not suitable with children, though not formally adults-only.

What is the difference between a pool villa and a hotel with a pool?

Which Pattaya pool villa is best for couples?

MASON Pattaya for top-end (saltwater pool, jacuzzi, One MICHELIN Key hotel, direct beachfront). La Miniera for the best value at the mid-range — heated ozone pool, floating breakfast, SLH-standard service at ฿5,400–฿6,500/night.
