Pattaya Walking Street

Pattaya's neon spine, and the reason a lot of people know the city's name. The 500-metre strip in South Pattaya closes to traffic each evening and fills with go-go bars, nightclubs, live-music venues and seafood restaurants. It's loud, crowded and unapologetically a red-light district, but it's free to walk and worth seeing once even if you don't drink. Comes alive after 9pm and runs until the early hours.
