Chaloem Phra Kiat Park

A hillside park on the ridge above Pattaya, worth the climb for the view alone — the whole bay laid out below, best in the late afternoon before the haze rolls in. The paths are shaded and steep enough that the joggers who use it every morning are properly fit. Squirrels and monkeys live in the trees, so don't leave food out or wave it around. Free, quiet on weekday mornings, and a rare bit of green with an actual view in this town.
