It usually runs Friday to Sunday from around 5 PM to 11 PM on Thepprasit Road in South Pattaya — confirm hours are still current before making the trip, as market schedules shift. It’s the kind of market you come back to on subsequent trips. Walking Street closes to vehicles from 7 PM each night. By 10 PM it’s operating at full volume — neon, sound systems, touts, live bands out of open-fronted bars, and an extraordinary concentration of people from every part of the world. You don’t need to drink anything to make a pass through it worth doing. Walk it once end to end (about 500 metres), take in the chaos, and leave when you’ve had enough. It’s fine with older children as a spectacle, but not a place for young kids late in the evening.
