The rooftop worth naming first is Horizon, because the hotel actually describes it. The rest of this page is only bars whose own sites publish a floor or a clock. I dropped the cocktail recipes and dollar prices that used to sit on this guide. They were not on those menus.

Horizon, level 34 at the Hilton
Hilton puts Horizon Rooftop Restaurant & Bar on level 34 of Hilton Pattaya, 333/101 Moo 9, Nong Prue, Bang Lamung. The dining page describes indoor seats, an open-air terrace, an infinity bar, signature cocktails, and a DJ each evening. Dishes it names include a seafood tower, an Australian Angus tomahawk, a 48-hour lamb shank and miso snow fish.
The hotel’s Horizon page lists the food menu from 16:00 to 01:00. That is a menu window, not a promise about last orders on a given night.
On horizon.bar, classic cocktails are listed at ฿410 and the Infinity Selection at ฿520. Gin and tonics on that page start at ฿550. The page does not say whether 10% service and 7% VAT are included. Ask.
Hilton Pattaya’s LINE account advertises a Sunset Session, buy one cocktail and get one free, daily 16:00–19:00. That offer is not on the dining page I read, so confirm it at the desk.
You do not need to be a hotel guest. The sunset hour is the busy one.

The table is what each bar’s own site was publishing, as compiled on 14 October 2026 from those pages. I have not reprinted a price the venue did not print. “Roof” means the site gave no floor number.

Skybar Summer Club’s own age line says 18. Thai law sets the drinking age at 20, so take photo ID anyway. It is the only bar in this table with a published entry fee.
None of these pages is a reservation. A terrace can close in a downpour. Horizon has an indoor room, which is the practical answer in the wet season, May to October.
Which end of town

Pratumnak. Sunset Beach Terrace at the Royal Cliff, and Hermes at Elysium. The hill faces west. The viewpoint on Khao Phra Tamnak is free if a drink minimum is not the plan. Royal Cliff Grand · Check Royal Cliff on Agoda.

Wongamat. Rum Jungle, on the Centara Grand Mirage roof, is the north-end one, and it closes at 22:00 on its own page.

What I would not trust on a rooftop page
Dress codes, named house cocktails and “from $4” prices, unless the venue printed them. Most of these sites do not. Rum Jungle’s casual note is the one dress line I found on a hotel page. For the others, ask.
A ++ menu adds 10% service and 7% VAT. Torien marks its highball offer that way. Horizon’s cocktail page does not.

Do I have to stay at the Hilton to drink at Horizon?
No. Horizon is open to walk-in guests. Book if you want a sunset table. The hotel does not publish a minimum spend on the page I read.
What time do Pattaya rooftop bars close?
It depends on the bar. Horizon serves food until 01:00. ZAMA prints 03:00. Skybar Summer Club and Torien’s rooftop bar print midnight. Several Pratumnak terraces close between 21:00 and 23:30. Read the row above rather than assuming 4am. That 4am rule is for licensed entertainment venues, not for these hotel roofs.
Is there a free sunset view?
Yes. The viewpoint on Khao Phra Tamnak, Pratumnak Hill, is free. Baht buses struggle with the hill. See the sunset viewpoints guide.
