Dongtan Beach

A shaded, tree-lined beach at the northern end of Jomtien, calmer and greener than the main strip. The pine trees behind the sand make it a favourite for early-morning runners and cyclists, and it's a well-known gathering spot for Pattaya's LGBT crowd. Good for a swim and a quiet afternoon rather than water sports and jet skis.
